Young Steinway Artist Congyu Wang will give a Bangkok debut performance at Siam Ratchada Auditorium on Nov 1 at 7pm.

​He will perform Poulenc's Mouvement Perpetual, three novelettes, three intermezzos and 15 improvisations for piano, including Melancholie and Les Chemins de l'amours, Debussy's Arabesque and La Fille aux Cheveux de Lin and Ravel's Ondine from Gaspard de la Nuit.

​Hailed as a 'Complete Musician', the internationally-renowned soloist has garnered acclaim as a recitalist, accompanist and chamber musician. Born in Singapore, he started when he was three. After the prestigious Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris, he went on to study with Gabriel Tacchino (Francis Poulenc's only student) at Schola Cantorum de Paris.

​He won many international piano competitions, including the grand prize in Berlin and Bordeaux and 6th prize at the Chopin International Piano Competition for young pianists in Slovenia. He has appeared in over 500 recitals in France, England, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Sweden, Reunion Island, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and other countries, The concert is part of 'Thailand 2nd Chopin International Competition 2015', which will take place from Nov 1-3 at the same venue. Siam Ratchada Auditorium is on the ground floor of Fortune town Building.
